Pagani Huayra Not Street Legal in the US

Pagani Huayra Not Street Legal in the US
The National American Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or the NHTSA, has strange ways of dealing with its requests, and they seem to have ignored one altogether - the one for the Pagani Huayra. They say that the Italian supercar still has to be certified for road use, despite the fact that it most likely complies and surpasses all of their legal requirements.

Still, that hasn`t stopped 18 millionaires ordering their very own Huayra, at close to $1.6 million a pop. Still, they may have ordered their cars for decorative purposes only, to have it on display in their oversized lounge area, so that visitors can sit in it, and marvel at the craftsmanship.

Pagani has so far managed to sell 105 Huayras around the world, as the Huayra enters its third year of production. Still, no matter how good it is, it will most likely never recapture the appeal and the fame gained by its illustrious predecessor, the Zonda.

Still, with the AMG V12, active aerodynamics, one of the best car interiors ever made and stunning design both inside and out, the Huayra has an appeal all of its own.
