Hot on the ebony heels of the 911 and Boxster Black Editions comes this, the ’12 Cayman S Black Edition. It has 10 more ponies than a regular S, bringing the total to 330 hp, and a bunch of extra standard equipment usually found in the Porsche Convenience Package, such as a Bose surround-sound system and touchscreen navigation. As the name suggests, there’s plenty of black to go around, from the body color and the upholstery to the background of the instrument dials. The wheels are 19-inchers, light alloy and dark, dark paint. Only 500 examples will be made at a price of $68,450 (including destination), which is something of a deal considering the extra kit. A PDK transmission ($3,420) and a Sport Chrono Package ($950) are options.
