ZJMM R12, China's CBR250R Photoshop Rival

ZJMM R12, China's CBR250R Photoshop Rival
Zhejiang Jiajue Motorcycle Manufacturing have released some pictures which depict what they claim to be the ZJMM R12 bike, a machine with a look so similar to the 2013 Honda CBR250R, that we believe it wouldn't make it past noon at the EICMA.

Now, with China copying pretty much any design which might be transformed into something that sells well and the quarter-liter segment expecting a dramatic stir starting this year, going for the most successful bikes is just small surprise.

We already saw Guardia di Finanza seizing Chinese scooters at the last EICMA because they were copying Vespa models all the way, so we can expect that such a bike would not reach any market outside China where Honda has an established presence.

And frankly, we really hoped China used its resources to come up with something original. It may be tough first, but we know that human creativity knows no nationality.

JMR Customs CB450 Honda Nighthawk Is Almost Too Pretty

JMR Customs CB450 Honda Nighthawk Is Almost Too Pretty
On the funny side, we believe that some limits should be imposed for how pretty a custom motorcycle can become. And that's because we just happen to stumble on jewels like the CB450 Honda Nighthawk by JMR Customs and the amount on nice is almost painful.

JMR Customs is a 3-generation shop, with Josh (Matt's son) being only 22, but way deep into racing, modding and bike-building. Now taking yet another look at the Nighthawk, it really looks like a custom job done by guys with tons of experience behind... and that's fabulous.

From a pretty mauled CB450 scavenged off Ebay, and loading a motocross fork and rear shock to the cur and completely rebuilt rear end, the JMR Customs Nighthawk breathes racing spirit while its sleek lines and cleverly chosen paint scheme also make it a head-turning street-bike.

Having it painted in complementary mauve in contrast with the golden fork legs and yellowish seat is not only eye-pleasing, but adds a reassuring sense of symmetry we just adore. Raking out the front end from 28 to 34 degrees provided the Nighthaws with bot enhanced stability and a more aggressive look.

And hiding all the wiring left the bike as clean and tidy as it gets. Not 100% sure we dig the Trail Tech vapor digital speedo and maybe a retro-look one could fit the project better, given the tapered, vintage Ducati silencer. But that's just us, the JMR guys deserve all the praise for this amazing job.

Termignoni Exhausts, Back in Dakar after 19 Years

It's been 19 years since Termignoni exhausts have equipped a Dakar motorcycle. Back then, those glorious years saw Edi Orioli winning the 1994 and 1996 Dakars, riding a Cagiva Elefant 900 and a Yamaha YZE850T, respectively.

Here's a piece of very nice custom job done by M&M Customs on an old Honda CB550 and not only restoring the vintage bike to a great shape, but giving it a whole new life and frankly, making it sexy as hell.

The Devil Wears Prada and Rides a Honda CB350

The Devil Wears Prada and Rides a Honda CB350

When speaking about a metalcore band and motorcycles, one might expect big bad bikes with lots or muscle and a heap of hardcore attitude. Well, in case it's The Devil Wears Prada, the attitude is still there, but frontman Mike Hranica went for less muscle: an old Honda CB350, trimmed and customized by Analog Motorcycles.
