Obviously, there are are prettier supermodels to look at these days. But SV as we like to call her is a very special little monster. You just fall in love it and never notice any other Lambos. Up until the very moment when the Aventador struck the scene, strutting its 700 hp, this was the fastest production Lamborghini you could buy.

But even if she’s thirsty, one you laid on her svelte, powerful contours, you just know you’re craving a drive.

LEGO Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV: Not Just for Kids

You want a Lamborghini, we know, we want one to - in fact we want more, but, just like you, we can't afford one (we'll place a "yet" in the backets in an effort to look cool). So, even though we're not that demanding and we don't necessarily want an Aventador, we can't bet a Murcielago either.

So, what can we do about this Lambo itchiness? Well, building one out of LEGO would be an easy solution. However, we're also short on time these days, so we found one that has already been put together using plastic bricks.

This Murcielago LP670-4 SV made of LEGO looks pretty close to the real one, despite the fact that it wasn't one of those this-takes-a-lifetime build, so we really wanted to share it with you.

Gumball 3000 2012: Glen Cove Fire Department Lamborghini Murcielago

No, of course there’s no fire department taking part in the Gumball Rally, even though a Lamborghini Murcielago with the ability to put out fires would be great. The Murcie you see above, thanks to Youtube user Shmee150, was actually brought to Times Square, where the even started, for promotional purposes, with the supercar sitting on HRE wheels.

The custom rims, which might not suit eveyrbody’s taste, can be fitted to any modern Lamborghini model and now the entire world paid attention to them, so we have to admit that this was a pretty smart marketing scheme.

The 2012 Gumball Rally is taking participants on the following route: New York City (start, May 25th); Toronto, Canada (May 25th); Indianapolis (May 26th-27th); Kansas City (May 28th); Santa Fe (May 29th); Las Vegas (May 30th); Los Angeles (finish, May 31st).

Glen Cove Fire Department Lamborghini Murcielago

This is a special edition Lamborghini Murcielago owned by Martino Auto Concepts in Glen Cove, US. For promotional reasons, it dropped by at the start of the 2012 Gumball 3000 in New York yesterday where Tim aka Shmee150 filmed it. 

The Glen Cove Fire Department (GCFD) Lamborghini Murcielago rides on HRE vintage series 454 wheels, received an unique matte red wrap and safety lights on the roof. The faces of the wheels are brushed and polished. The barrel is also polished and then everything is clear powder coated for ease of maintenance.
