Rock band Kiss have
made a career out of looking scary to sensitive kids. But now they are
giving back, thanks to MINI. Four special versions of the Countryman
compact crossover, each one autographed and painted to resemble a Kiss
character, were auctioned off, with the money going to UNICEF, the
United Nations’ charity for children. But it’s the image that keeps on
giving. Any MINI owner can order an aftermarket car wrap from the
company, with the option to choose from among the four Kiss characters,
and the proceeds will also benefit UNICEF. Sadly (or perhaps not), there
is no prosthetic tongue to affix to the grille.
