After some hemming and hawing, Bugatti will indeed put the four-door (plus hatchback) 16C Galibier into production. The company plans to make in the area of 1,500 examples at around $1.44 million apiece. Then again, its 16-cylinder engine will have an output just shy of 1,000 hp, making it one of the most powerful sedans on the planet. Top speed could be as much as 217 mph. Luxurious touches should also abound, like a detachable Parmigiani timepiece that clicks onto the dashboard or the driver’s wristband. On the concept car, the wheel hubs illuminated and a control center ran Apple operating software, so expect something similar on the production model when it comes out in 2012 as a 2013 model.
