It’s been 50 years since Aston Martin and Zagato first got together to create the voluptuous DB4GT Zagato. And now they have rekindled that old flame to make a new car, shown at the Villa D’Este Concours by Italy’s Lake Como earlier this year. This is the V12 Zagato, based on the Vantage, with Aston’s stonking 6.0-liter engine that makes 510 hp and 420 lb-ft. And like the old DB4GT, this one is going racing. Which is great, because why wouldn’t anyone want to drive this thing? But to expose that lovely hand-formed aluminum body to the chances of getting bent up? It makes your blood run cold.
