Wasn’t part of the MINI’s appeal that it could handle well, while still being charming and somewhat practical? No doubt the new, two-seater MINI Coupe will have the first quality covered, but the third one has taken a beating. This truncated two-door starts at $22,000 for the Cooper trim level and stretches to $31,900 for the John Cooper Works (JCW) version. The company claims this JCW coupe has the highest top speed of any MINI, 149 mph, and accelerates the fastest: 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds. A soft-top version debuts in 2012.
