One person to Win Two New Porsches in the 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway

Homestead, FL - The Grand Prix of Miami Grand-AM Race, on March 5, marked the launch of the 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway, a fundraising event sponsored by WorldCause Foundation. This national sweepstakes provides each participant a chance, with a suggested $3 donation, to win two spectacular Porsches TAX FREE! WorldCause Foundation is an organization that is dedicated to providing help to those in abject poverty with a special emphasis on easing the suffering of children.

Motorsports Hall of Famer and Grand-AM Racing legend Hurley Haywood along with members of GRAND-AM Racing and Continental Tire were on hand to help unveil both Porsches that make up the grand-prize; the one-of-a-kind 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3 and the matching 2011 Porsche Cayenne S. Hybrid. In addition to helping unveil these two beautiful cars, Haywood had the opportunity to have a little fun with members of the press by taking them on a ride around the track in the GT3.

The 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3, which is the most powerful 911 GT3 to date, was created as a tribute to Hurley Haywood, Chief Driving Instructor for Porsche of America and a member of the Brumos Racing team. The GT3 bears several unique Hurley Haywood inspired modifications including a stunning red grill as well as red and blue door inserts which were patterned after the Brumos Racing stripe. The GT3 also bears several Hurley Haywood signature pieces and "Serial #1 of 1" on an eye catching aluminum wing plate, reminding everyone that this car is truly a one-of-a-kind. The GT3 reaches a top track speed of 194 mph and comes fitted with a 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer engine. This one-of-a- kind car comes complete with a driving lesson from the racing legend himself. 

 

The equally striking 2011 Porsche Cayenne S. Hybrid includes stunning leather interior and several high tech advancements including a permanent all-wheel drive system with self-locking centre differential. Like its matching counterpart this distinctive car comes completely outfitted with a brand new set of top of the line Continental Tires. The 2011 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, which averages 21 MPG in city driving and 25 MPG on the highway, reaches a top speed of 150 mph and can go from 0-60 in 6.1 seconds.

The 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway will help provide an opportunity for seriously ill children to attend Camp Boggy Creek. WorldCause Foundation has chosen Camp Boggy Creek, the official charity of GRAND-AM Racing and Mr. Haywood, to receive a portion of the proceeds from the 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway. Camp Boggy Creek, a Hole-in-the-Wall camp co-founded by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkoph, is a year-round medical camp for children ages 7-16 who are suffering from chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

The 2011 Continental Tire Dream Giveaway ends October 15, 2011. The lucky winner will receive the keys to both the amazing 2011 Hurley Haywood Edition Porsche GT3 and the 2011 Porsche Cayenne S.
