McLaren has given out
official performance figures for its MP4-12C supercar. Zero to 62 mph
(100 km/h) is seen off in 3.3 seconds. Shave off another couple of
tenths if the car is wearing Corsa tires. Keeping the foot on the
throttle, 124 mph passes by in 9.1 seconds (8.9 with that Corsa rubber),
before maxing at 205 mph. A quarter-mile is covered in 10.9 seconds
with a terminal speed of 134 mph. Sweet.
