Goodness gracious, it’s already time for the Audi A5 range to have a mid-cycle refresh and we’re still drooling over the original. The main visual differences are in the lights, grille and bumpers, while Audi offers new interior colors and materials, plus a fine-tuning of the MMI (multimedia interface). Start/stop technology will be implemented under the hood, improving fuel consumption by an average of 11 percent. So far, there has been no word on which U.S.-spec A5 models will get this feature, but the revamped range comes out in the summer of 2012 as a 2013 model year. And we’ll find out about pricing just before then.
