German aftermarket specialist Hartge has recently introduced its take on the F10 BMW M5, with the package focusing on the tech side of the supersaloon.
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 unit was boosted to 642 hp and 810 Nm (597 lb-ft), which can be translated into an increase of 82 hp and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft). In real world language, the new figures mean that the M5 can deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 4.2 seconds and offers an electronically limited top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Among others, the unit has been gifted with a stainless steel exhaust system, which also changes its voice.
The Hartge M5 uses a set of lowering springs that bring the car closer to the road by 25 mm up front and 20 mm at the back. The vehicle rides on 21-inch alloy wheels, with customers being able to choose between multiple designs.
The rest of the modifications include a front lip spoiler, carbon fiber mirror covers, as well as aluminum pedals and custom floor mats.
