A standard Ural to make heads turn, is such a thing even
possible? Well, if we didn't see the 2013 Ural Retro we'd say it's
rather unusual to "wow" in front of one. However, the Retro model is by
far one of the neatest we saw so far, with an impeccable, deep gloss
black paint and vintage white pinstriping, all in the vein of the nifty
bikes of yore.
We must admit that such a bike could go well even without the sidecar: its massive 18” wheels add a ton of character and the generous fenders with bold turn signals are a perfect match for the long, teardrop tank and are nothing short of simply great.
However, the spacious sidecar allows you to ride with your significant other. The sidecar windscreen protects the passenger and at the same time adds a dash of elegance to the 2013 Ural Retro. And when you ride a lone, a classic cordura tonneau cover can be easily put in place.
The 2013 Ural Retro sports Marzocchi forks loaded with a full-floating rotor squeezed by a Brembo caliper, while the rear shocks come from Sachs. This 40 hp bike comes with both kick and electric start and will run great on 91 unleaded fuel, allowing you to cut a bit of the running costs, as well.
Since style comes at a price, the 2013 Ural Retro will set you back $14,249 (€10,745).
