Did you enjoy reading about the precise handling of the new 911 Carrera? Are you excited about the possibility of a tri-turbo 991 Turbo? Forget all about that, this is the car you actually want in the real world, the brand new Carrera 4S.
The car has been spotted for the first time by our spy photographers as it was undergoing track testing on the famous Nurburgring in Germany. You can tell this is the all-wheel drive 4S we’re dealing with due to the wider arches and the light strip that’s covered up at the back.
We expect that towards the end of 2012, Porsche will introduce all-wheel drive to the new 911, which will be available in combination with a 350 horsepower flat-six engine in the Carrera 4 and with 400 horsepower in the Carrera 4S.
What’s clear is that we have a lot of new 911s coming up, including the new Turbo, the GT3 and a Targa model.
