Lexus has officially revealed their Lexus IS-F CCS-R racer ahead of its debut at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on July 8th. The vehicle is based on the stock Lexus IS-F.

The hill climb racer is powered by 5.0 liter V8 engine producing up to 416hp at 6,600rpm and a maximum torque of 371lb-ft at 5,200rpm. The engine is linked to a rear-wheel drive system and a eight-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic with paddle shift and manual mode.

The exterior looks feature an Orange mica exterior paint, carbon fiber hood, door handles, front fender, front spoiler, front canard, rear spoiler and a ventilator. The polycarbonate windows, lightweight doors are combined with a reinforced monocoque with roll cage.

The IS-F CCS-R rides on SSR wheels sizing 18×8.5J, off-set 30 at the front and 18×9.5J, off-set 40 at the rear. The rims are fitted with Yokohama/ADVAN NEOVA A050 tires sizing 245/40 R18 front and 255/40 R18 rear. Stopping power is provided racing brake kit with stainless steel mesh brake hose. The suspension features an adjustable camber front upper arm, a modified race suspension and reinforced bushings and mounts.
