Yes, we know that Lavender and a convertible combine to create a very feminine car, but we just can’t help feeling that the this particular MINI Roadster has plenty of class. This relatively new car was only recently launched and has now been customized under the guidance of Franca Sozzani, chief editor of Italian VOGUE and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Fashion 4 Development.
The one-off made its presence felt at the 2012 Life Ball charity gala where it raised €54,000 for the battle against HIV and AIDS.
"I thought at MINI as a beautiful woman who put a scarf on her head when she drives a Roadster," explained Sozzani.
As you can see from these photos, the body of the MINI Roadster is finished in Matte Purple complemented by gloss black chrome. Gold is used as an accent color for the rally stripes and the new wheels.
"Flowers are a symbol of joy and life. And the Life Ball is always fighting for life and joy," said Sozzani. So they applied flowers to the stripes, the interior and the folding fabric top.
