Lamborghini used the Beijing Motor Show to introduce the Urus SUV concept, but the company has more complex plans for the car than just enlarging its vehicle portfolio.
Lamborghini wants to follow Porsche’s sales model (on a smaller scale, of course) and boost its financial situation using the SUV - we have to remind you that the Cayenne was the model that allows Porsche to hit a hefty level of profit.
The Raging Bull expects to sell around 3,000 units of its SUV per year, which would double its annual sales level. The company received a strong demand in most regions of the world last year and it is expecting the Urus to boost that.
However, just like Porsche did with the Cayenne, Lambo has huge ambitions for its high rider in terms of performance, as the company wants the Urus to be the best performer in its class.
