Ah, Ferrari, representative of all things Italian. Even its classic designers have been local boys, like Sergio Pininfarina. But that may be changing soon. The Prancing Horse recently ran its 2011 World Design Contest, with entrants from 50 universities around the world. The winner was a trio from Korea, whose entry is called Eternitá. And it’s a hybrid. The runner-up came from Azerbaijan and third prize went to an Englishman and a Chinaman, which sounds like the beginning of a joke, but no. Chairman Luca di Montezemolo said: “I am certain that some of these suggestions will come to light in the Ferraris of the future.”
