Aston Martin Virage

The Virage is Aston Martin's latest all-new vehicle, bridging the price gap between the DB9 and the range-topping DBS. Unlike either of those vehicles, however, the Virage is designed as a 2+2 layout, meaning that it may ostensibly accommodate four people. The Virage is available either as a coupe or Volante (convertible).

The Virage is propelled by Aston Martin's signature 6.0-liter V12 engine. In this car, the power unit produces 490 hp at 6500 rpm and 420 lb-ft of torque at 5750 rpm. Power and torque are transferred to the rear wheels by a six-speed "Touchtronic II" gearbox. Zero to 60 mph is achieved in around four and a half seconds, and Aston Martin claims the top speed to be 186 mph.
Along with the inherent luxury and refinement defined by the DB9 series, the Virage also incorporates some of Aston Martin's top-level technology derived from that in the quarter-million-dollar DBS, such as Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes as standard equipment, and a newly developed Adaptive Damping System (ADS) designed to actively "read" the road to provide optimum handling characteristics.
