Can a second hand car with 1,000 kilometers on the clock that
drinks petrol at a rate of 23 l/100km cost €2 million ($2.6 million)?
Only if its a Pagani Huayra.
This red example advertised for sale on Jameslist.com is somewhat special. The German seller is saying this is chassis number 01, the first of its kind. The’s another Huayra advertised by the same company for €895,000, so you pay more than twice as much for a used car just to have the very first serial number on that interior plaque.
The particular car is probably the one that has been touring the world, showing up at Pebble Beach last summer. It has a two-tone paintjob with red on top of carbon fiber and a black leather interior.
We'd save a million and a bit and buy a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta instead. With the money saved, customization should know no limits, and it already has more power than the Huayra.
