New G63 AMG Wears Sahara Beige With Pride

New G63 AMG Wears Sahara Beige With Pride
If there ever was an SUV with timeless quality, it’s the G-Class. While the Range Rover has gone through four generations so far, the G-Wagen is evolved, and following the debut the introduction on new AMG engines last year, has proven itself to be immensely popular.

Originally designed in the early 70s for military use, the Geländewagen went on sale with the general public in 1979, never forgetting its army roots.

This brand new G63 AMG seems to think its in the German wehrmacht during World War II, fighting Montgomery for desert dominance. We say that because it sports a wonderful sahara beige paintjob. Mercedes does offer a similar color called “sandine beige”, but this is a more natural, earthy tone that points toward a custom paintjob, evocative of military use.
