A fatal accident happened last Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The
37-year-old driver of a Nissan GT-R had been driving down Atlantic
Avenue with his 24-year-old passenger Munich Angeloni. The accident
killed the passenger and placed the driver in hospital with a critical
condition.
Internet rumours suggest that the GT-R in question had completed a
1,200hp AMS Alpha conversion recently. Sao Paulo is home to the only
South American tuning shop to carry official AMS dealership status so
the claim is entirely plausible. Its thought that the car had standard
rims and standard road tyres, causing the back end to step out under
heavy acceleration.
