Last month we
reported on the MINI Paceman concept. The two-door variant of the
Countryman compact SUV. It has a turbocharged 211-hp 1.6-liter four (as
enjoyed in the John Cooper Works versions) and the option of all-wheel
drive. This month, the news is that it is going into production. But
we’ll have to wait because MINI is bringing out the chopped-top Coupe
version later this year, then the Roadster version early next year. And
the Paceman after that. Wouldn’t it be crazy if MINI worked on a small
car?
