Jaguar is set to support and participate in the Eifel Klassik 2012,
which takes place between June 7 and 9. Among the cars entered in the
event by Jaguar are a trio of ex-Royal Household vehicles.
A XJ12 Series I and a MkVII, both once used by the Queen Mother, are
joined by an XJS driven by Lady Diana. Completing the strong Jaguar
presence at the Eifel Classic are a Series II E-type, an XK150 and an
XK120, the latter having just returned from participating in the Mille
Miglia.
The Eifel Klassik attracts an entry list of diverse heritage
vehicles, each taking on a mix of roads in the Eifel region of Germany.
The Jaguar Nurburgring Test Centre will play host to the start of the
event with competitors taking to the track on which every modern Jaguar
is tested before heading out on the public roads, taking in a total of
over 700km in three days.
